The O&M Manager will have the responsibility to ensure the adequate operation and maintenance of the company's assets of all technologies and geographies, with the aim of minimizing availability losses and maximizing the efficiency of each of them, by defining the company's O&M strategy and supervising and coordinating the O&M activities. This position will require extensive knowledge in the operation and maintenance of renewable plants and high-voltage systems.
Roles and Responsibilities Definition of relevant KPIs for the control and monitoring of the expected performance of the asset. Definition of common O&M policies and programs and their implementation at the company assets. Definition, implementation, follow-up and update of the maintenance plan for each asset. Define and manage an optimal pool of spare parts by technologies to optimize the fixed assets and to reduce the unavailability of the different plants. Ensure that all Company assets are connected to the Company remote monitoring and data acquisition systems. Selection of subcontractors by the definition of their scope and technical specs, commercial discussions in coordination with the company departments and following the company procurement rules and procedures. Management and monitoring of subcontractor activities, with regular inspections and site visits. Negotiation in coordination with the company relevant departments of the O&M agreements and their monitoring and follow-up during the commercial operation of the asset, together with any other agreement that would apply. Ensure that the O&M activities follow the relevant environmental and legal requirements that apply to the asset, including but not limited to applicable technical regulations, tests, legal inspections, required certifications, etc. Ensure that the O&M activities are performed following the Company H&S policies and procedures and applicable legal regulations. Follow up in coordination with the company relevant departments with clients, off-takers and public authorities. Preparation, monitoring and follow-up of O&M annual budgets following the company requirements. Regular reporting on the assets performance internally in the Company and to the relevant stakeholders. In coordination and collaboration with the different areas of the company, ensure that all lessons learned are properly implemented in the new assets, by being involved from the development of the project, construction and PEM and their commercial operation. If applicable, carry out the periodic monitoring of the guarantees against the contractors, transferring to them the deviations in the operation and performance parameters of the plant, detected by the Monitoring, Analysis and Control Center (CMAC). Under the coordination of the Asset Management Director, collaborate with the Company Monitoring, Analysis and Control Center (CMAC) on improving the assets performance and management. Requirements Qualification: Industrial Engineer or any other engineering discipline as long as the candidate presents demonstrated experience in the field of operation and maintenance of industrial assets and/or power generation plants. Proven experience of at least 5 years in O&M management. A high level of spoken and written English and Spanish is essential (minimum B2). Availability to travel nationally and internationally.
