At LHH, we are looking for a Project Engineer for the Design and Construction of Industrial Plants and process optimization, for an important company in the food sector located in Tarragona.
Together with the engineering department, your main goal will be the design and development of industrial plants, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency at all stages of the process: from design and execution to turnkey delivery.
Your main responsibilities include: Supervising all project phases, from conception to implementation, meeting deadlines, budgets, and quality standards.
Performing material and energy balance calculations, designing flow and process diagrams, P&IDs.
Collaborating in the conceptual and detailed design of industrial plants using AutoCAD.
Establishing relationships with suppliers and subcontractors, managing the procurement of materials and services.
Conducting technical analyses and feasibility studies to ensure the plant's operational efficiency.
Supervising construction activities, ensuring safety and quality standards.
Keeping project technical and administrative documentation up to date.
Providing training and technical support to the project team and other departments.
Requirements: Engineering degree or similar.
Over 5 years of experience as a project engineer, preferably in the food industry.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, P&IDs, and material and energy balance analysis.
Fluent and conversational level of English is essential.
Availability to travel based on project needs (20-30% of annual working hours).

Salary between approximately 40K and 45K.
