O873 - Junior Aerospace Engineer

Aviation Island is a consultancy firm in the aviation business.We are mainly focused on aviation maintenance, CAMO management, aircraft redeliveries, and engineering services in general that can be provided to aviation companies or other customers in the field.TasksThe selected candidate will perform their duties at the Technical Records department, within a team of engineers and technical personnel, reporting directly to the Office Manager.
The main responsibilities will consist of:Reception, revision, and closing in the system (AMOS software) of all maintenance jobs performed by the MRO.Manage and process base maintenance checks and perform records review to ensure that the proper standards and company policies are met.Revise and close all major checks received in digital, as well as update the system with relevant info (component changes, SBs, etc.
).Claim and follow up on discrepancies generated over the process (documental discrepancies or missing documents).Give support and feedback to other departments, such as CAMO and Engineering.Attend, when available, Phase in or Phase out projects, collaborating and helping when required.RequirementsAerospace Engineer degree is a MUST.Fluent in English.Self-disciplined and methodical person.Prior experience in the area is NOT REQUIRED but will be taken into account.Valuable Experience:Experience in aviation and aviation maintenance in general.Experience working within a CAMO and specifically Technical Records department.Good skills with AMOS software.Good skills with Excel as well as computer literacy.Driving license and owner of a vehicle.Live in Barcelona or nearby.Availability for travel.BenefitsFlexible working time.Work from home 1 or 2 days a week.Free coffee.If you think that the position is suitable for you, please send your CV in PDF format to "careers(at)avisland.es" with the subject "AEROSPACE ENGINEER BCN".
