.Bausch & Lomb is one of the most recognizable pharmaceutical companies worldwide, offering the broadest and most excellent portfolio of eye care products including contact lenses, care products, medicines, intraocular lenses, and other eye surgery products.Key Responsibilities:Supervises and manages all logistics processes including warehousing & distribution, transportation in and out of the DC, value-added logistics, customs clearance for exports outside the EU, and any other task as may be required in the normal course of operations.Manages the Order Management team and has oversight and responsibility for the quality and output of their work.Supervises product flow management for WDC in accordance with the QMS of the site and respective regulations.Manages the Master Data team, who are responsible for SAP ERP master data management.Supervises EHS (Environment, Health Safety) status of WDC operations, and ensures proper disposal of waste material for B+L, via approved and validated 3PL service providers in accordance with EHS regulations.Supervises inventory management process within WLC DC: mainly stock taking, but also on sites where inventory owned by B+L is stored and thus must be thoroughly counted and maintained.Manages the Procurement Team, who together with the manager are responsible to ensure the correct levels of inventory are maintained.Manages and controls transport cost, through judicious use of the appropriate vendors and services.Works closely with the QA Manager to ensure agreed quality standards and compliance metrics are achieved.Manages the 3PL service providers for all activities and ensures KPI's are well defined and achieved.Prepares and manages the budget for logistics activities.Reviews all logistics processes from time to time, ensures best practices are implemented and optimum service levels and efficiencies are achieved.Guides and mentors the team to grow and develop in their careers.Participates in optimisation projects on the local and regional level as required.Looks ahead on strategical and tactical development of WDC. Together with the Logistics Director, develops strategic plans on long term horizon (5 years+).Ensures that the team complies with SOX (US) act and Trade Compliance regulations. Implements post-audit recommendations and supervises document archiving process connected with customer service.Represents the Order Management team and reports on the order to cash cycle and related activities as required by management.Other Duties:Employee is responsible for overall matters within his/her/their duties and for company property entrusted to him/her/them.Employee is responsible to complete tasks, training programs, and activities as required in the course of their job.Employee is responsible to the same degree for decisions taken and for those not taken, in situations where the decisions were necessary
