About the Team Workday has a dedicated internal payroll team, located on the US West-coast, in Dublin, Ireland and Madrid, Spain.
We process our payroll using Workday's payroll solution as well as through third party vendors.
Our Payroll Analysts ensure timely and accurate payroll and make for happy Workday employees.

After your initial onboarding we will provide you with team-based and self-guided training so you can become an expert in Workday's payroll solution, understand all aspects of the Workday pay cycle and processes, and succeed in your new role.
About the Role What you'll be doing: Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll with strong data integrity for up to 5 countries.Preparing and submitting journal entries for international payrolls.Reconciling international payroll and benefit balance sheet accounts.Coordinating the reconciliation of ESPP and equity compensation with the stock administration and corporate accounting teams.Coordinate with internal and external customers to resolve payroll issues.Reconcile payroll taxes, resolve tax notices with resolve to ensure payroll regulatory filings are completed accurately and on time.Audit payroll results from third-party payroll providers or from the Workday payroll system.Ensure feedback and solution to employee's queries connected with internal payroll.Balance employee deductions and employer costs to third party payments.Partner with other Workday teams to design and implement cross-functional process improvements, uptake new system functionality and support initiatives that scale with business growth.Assist payroll leadership team with special projects as assigned; taking a lead role on projects where appropriate, e.g.
integration of employees for payroll purposes with mergers & acquisitions or assist with external audits.About You Basic Qualifications: +3 years experience processing or supporting payroll function in medium size or larger organization.Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, HR, or another respective field; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.Other Qualifications: UK Payroll or Workday Payroll software experience preferred.Detail oriented with an ability to prioritize and work with a sense of urgency.Strong analytic and problem-solving skills.Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.Moderate to advanced use of Microsoft Excel.LI-EF2
