The Field Service Engineer provides on-site service including preventative maintenance, calibration, installation, and training across all product lines.
The position is also responsible for providing scientific and/or technical assistance to customers as well as identifying and forwarding sales opportunities.
Responsibilities:
Performing on-site troubleshooting, service and repairs.Evaluating malfunctioning instruments and preparing estimates for the cost of repair.Selling maintenance contracts to customers and creating the Service Contract Quotation in the CRM.Performing factory calibrations (ISO 17025, if required).Providing on-site training to the customers.Completing administrative tasks associated with the CRM Service module as to log all Support Ticket and Service Orders in the CRM Service.Taking responsibility for personal warehouse / stock.Forwarding sales opportunities to Sales Representatives when instruments need to be replaced.Attending all necessary Anton Paar service trainings for the relevant product lines.This position requires up to 75% overnight travel within Spain. Requirements:
Good communication skills and strong customer service skills are a must for this position.Direct experience in the analytical instruments field is a plus.This position requires a highly motivated individual that is capable of completing assigned tasks with little to no supervision.This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Electric or Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, or another technical discipline.The ability to work with electronic schematics, test equipment, and tools for repairs is required.
Must maintain a valid driver's license and passport.
