Application Scientist PositionThe Application Scientist position requires the individual to conduct laboratory experiments involving formulations development as well as ingredients qualification.
Position ScopeEssential Duties and ResponsibilitiesKey responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Use knowledge of routine laboratory safety procedures, SDS's and interpretations of hazards/toxicity data to perform all laboratory work in accordance with the written safety manual and site safety policies.Be a steward for safety and continually drive awareness to ensure a safe work environment for all employees.Maintain accurate records of all laboratory work and research in accordance with generally accepted laboratory principles.Monitor stability testing.Qualification of Vantage ingredients and report data.Ensure the efficient operation of the laboratory (respect for SOPs, raw materials and packaging inventory management).Desired Background - Application Scientist- Graduate from a scientific school with a specialization in the cosmetic industry (Bachelor's degree minimum).
- Autonomy, dynamism, force of proposal, and high creativity.
- Fluent in Spanish and English (French language would be a plus).
- At least one experience in the cosmetic industry (internship or 1st experience as a cosmetic formulator).
