Your impact
As the Senior HR Business Partner based in Madrid, Spain, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the HR landscape for our regional teams. You'll provide strategic support to our Executive Leadership Team (ELT), solve complex HR challenges, and manage critical local responsibilities related to social affairs, work councils, and national unions. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving HR solutions that align with our global objectives while respecting local cultural and legislative nuances.
What the role offers
This position offers a unique blend of global and local HR responsibilities, providing a platform for you to make a significant impact across multiple levels. You will:
Provide day-to-day HR solutions, drawing on the expertise of HR Centers of Excellence in areas like disciplinary matters, legal affairs, and personnel administration.
Assist managers in understanding HR issues, developing their teams, and guiding new joiners through the onboarding process.
Propose and initiate training programs to support business growth, and help in performance reviews, talent reviews, and succession planning.
Manage and negotiate employee departures with a focus on fairness and compliance.
Deploy Group HR processes locally, ensuring they are aligned with local legislation and cultural practices.
Participate in global HR projects with an international dimension, contributing to the Group's overall HR strategy.
What you need to succeed
Language Skills: Fluency in Spanish and English is essential.
HR Expertise: Deep knowledge of HR practices, particularly in social affairs, work councils, and national unions within Spain.
Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong capability to resolve complex HR issues and provide practical, effective solutions.
Managerial Support: Experience in coaching and supporting managers in developing their teams and navigating HR challenges.
Negotiation Skills: Proven experience in managing and negotiating employee departures.
Process Deployment: Ability to localize and implement global HR processes, ensuring alignment with local laws and cultural practices.
Project Management: Experience in participating in global HR projects, with an understanding of international HR dynamics.
