We are looking for a Project Engineer with strong technical experience in the transport and installation of offshore projects. As a Project Engineer, you will participate in the coordination and delivery of engineering services for offshore wind projects, which requires a comprehensive view of the offshore wind sector and multitasking and flexibility skills to pivot the participation in these services. Previous experience in the definition of strategies for the transport and installation of offshore wind farms is required. It is desirable to have knowledge in the use of third-party software for operation simulations to find optimal solutions.Key Accountabilities:Support contract strategy discussions.Provide an overview of the market.Develop installation schedules for the construction phase.Engage with local Ports and determine any infrastructure upgrade requirements.Assess other design considerations e.g., equipment, requirements, and solutions regarding noise mitigation, use of innovative install methodologies offshore, etc.Define vessel specifications for the installation of FWTG, mooring pre-lay, and cable designs for either floating or bottom-fixed assets.Deliver technical due diligence assignments supporting large and complex finance transitions, taking responsibility for the T&I scope.Take a project role in the T&I Package within our Owner's Engineer service delivery, with responsibility over package interfaces, program, risk, and change management process, managing and supporting a multidisciplinary project team.Lead working packages relevant to the technical preparation, coordination, and management of the T&I scope tendering processes in collaboration with external stakeholders and our clients, including review of offers and their subsequent technical evaluation.Support standardization processes and initiatives across the Wind Advisory team aiming at developing standard and modular technical requirements for the contracting of the T&I scope in international projects.Required Education and Professional Experience:10 years of professional experience in offshore projects, of which at least five (5) in offshore wind energy, with a deep understanding of offshore transport and installation matters.Education Required:Master's degree or PhD in civil, structural, marine, mechanical engineering, naval architecture, or equivalent.Required Knowledge & Hard Skills:Several years of work and practical experience in the design, manufacturing, and installation of offshore assets. Strong technical background in offshore wind projects, with desirable experience in offshore wind floating projects. Experience in project management, with an understanding of technical interfaces and project finance management. Knowledge of relevant European and American international codes and offshore standards.
