S/he will define global standards and ensure implementation by considering sustainable Corporate Architecture and the whole building lifecycle. S/he will minimize impact to the environment, providing real estate solutions in line with the real estate markets, customer requirements, and working conditions that safeguard Siemens Gamesa employees.
Responsibilities:Responsibility for the department 'Building Solutions and Standards' of real estate business and related services.Organizational setup, people management and development, including line management responsibility of respective employees.Ensure adequate qualification of SGRE RE BSS employees for area of responsibility, define adequate measures to build up competencies in regions training.Functional management of BS in regions.Construction: Provide global guidelines and benchmarks and ensure implementation together with regions. Responsibility embraces construction project management for office as well as industrial buildings.Reporting and forecasting of global capital spending on construction projects. Steering of lighthouse projects.Corporate Architecture: Provide global architectural guidelines and standards for office as well as industrial buildings.Sustainability: Provide global sustainability standards, offer professional guidance and consultation to regions and customers to identify optimum solutions for Siemens Gamesa.Respective representation of SGRE RE BSS and contact person for internal and external partners.Member of SGRE RE Management Team.Qualifications:Profound international experience in construction business and real estate markets, project development, architecture, green building, sustainability, with high focus on industrial sites.Experience in heading large, international construction projects, including finance and contract management, quality aspects.Comprehensive knowledge in all disciplines along the real estate lifecycle (i.e., Asset Management, Real Estate Transaction, Real Estate Services).Excellent communication skills, leadership experience in multinational organizations.International work experience desired, high intercultural experience and sensitivity.Academic degree in architecture or civil engineering; MBA, project management or advanced real estate certification.10+ years of professional experience, thereof 5+ years in international construction business.Fluent English and German language skills, additional languages a plus.Up to 50% travelling.Siemens Gamesa is an equal opportunity employer and maintains a work environment that is free from discrimination and where employees are treated with dignity and respect.
