The Role

Plan and prepare engaging lessons aligned with the school curriculum, aimed at fostering the abilities and aptitudes of assigned pupils.
- Teach according to the educational needs of students, adapting to their individual progress.
- Assess, record, and report on pupils' development and attainment.

Qualifications & Experience

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, and an undergraduate degree.
- Proven experience teaching the primary curriculum.
- Strong understanding of current educational theory and practices, particularly for achieving high progress rates in primary-aged students.
- Good subject knowledge of the Cambridge Curriculum.
- Clear understanding of child development and its implications for lesson planning.
- Effective classroom and behavior management strategies.
- Awareness of equal opportunity issues and their application in schools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
