We are looking for a Nuclear Engineer on behalf of and in support to our client for their location in Barcelona, Spain. The selected candidate should show integrity and professionalism.Please note, the successful candidate will be employed by ATG Europe (or one of its subsidiaries). Furthermore, upon selection, they will be subject to a general security screening performed by an external provider (further information will be provided at interview stage).The successful candidate may be tasked with, but not limited to:- Ensure the compliance of F4E and F4E suppliers' activities (design, qualification, fabrication, control, ...) with the applicable French Safety regulations, e.G., the 2012 Order on Basic Nuclear Installations ('INB'), the Environmental Code, the ESPN regulation, etc.- Support the TBM team for Radwaste matters; - Implement a test plan for the validation of defined requirements or a follow-up for the verification of chosen defined requirements via a verification plan; - Lead and reviewthe correct propagation of the Defined Requirements coming from IO within the full supply chain. He/she will report directly to the Nuclear Safety/Licensing PjM and will work in close collaboration with the Requirements Responsible Officer that reports to the TBM Chief Engineer and in coordination with the concerned F4E Nuclear Safety Officer; - Development of technical basis documents, technical evaluations, and operational radiological protection procedures; - Review of technical documentation. The technical deliverables may cover design, manufacturing, testing, assembly, commissioning, or decommissioning activities; - Radiological monitoring and health physics management; - Collection, analysis, and interpretation of the results; - General technical assistance and activity reporting.Minimum Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in industrial, mechanical, electrical, aerospace, nuclear engineering or similar relevant field; - At least 6 years of relevant work experience; - Experience in the design, manufacturing, commissioning and/or decommissioning of nuclear systems, structures and/or components; - Experience in the application of radiation protection and health physics principles; - Experience in the design of nuclear shielding; - Experience in the design of radiation detection monitors; - Experience in the use of nuclear transport software such as MCNP; - Experience in the definition and/or application of radwaste management requirements; - Experience in the definition of requirements linked to the management of tritum; - Fluent in English, both written and spoken; - Candidates mustbe eligible to work in EU.Please submit your application in English via the apply button below.
