This is a great opportunity if you are an undergraduate or graduate student and eager to create a network in the biggest impact hub in Europe, located right here in Barcelona! We are looking for volunteers to commit for a minimum of 20 hours per week for 3 months, or more! The position:As a Norrsken Welcomer, you will be part of the Norrsken House Barcelona Front Desk team working on different shifts as required by the House. You'll be the first point of contact at Norrsken Barcelona, welcoming our entrepreneurs, guests, and investors with positive energy and being the first smile people see when they enter our door! You will bring your positive personality to create an open and collaborative atmosphere where people feel encouraged to connect. You will also help members and guests with any issues, as well as support the Norrsken team with daily tasks such as basic admin, letters and mails, meeting room operations, stationery refilling, or providing support for community events on weekdays.We put a lot of trust in you and this role gives you significant opportunities and autonomy to come up with new ideas and solutions that might serve the startup community at Norrsken House Barcelona. On occasion, and where time permits, you are are also welcome to work on your own projects, as long as you've done your daily duties, making this role a perfect fit for anyone who is flexible and looking for ways to engage with the impact tech industry. Qualifications and requirements: Availability: Be able to commit to a minimum 20hrs per week for at least 3 months.Starting as soon as possible. Language Skills: Fluency in English & Spanish is required. Legal requirements: Must be a studentand be able to have a convenio with your university or school. Positive Personality: Possess a positive and friendly demeanour, making visitors and guests feel welcome and comfortable. Always look for solutions to problems. Problem-Solving Skills: Display a proactive and resourceful attitude to help members and find solutions to various situations that may arise. Team Player: Collaborate effectively with other Welcomers and the Norrsken team to maintain a harmonious and supportive work environment. Prior Experience: None required.
