About the RoleWe are looking for a world-class Accounting Associate to manage various accounting tasks at Cozymeal. The individual in this role is expected to be experienced enough to own individual projects and work independently with limited supervision.
Responsibilities IncludeHandle the company's bookkeeping tasks via QuickbooksHelp prepare the company's tax filingsManage the process of issuing 1099s for contractors each JanuaryRecord day-to-day financial transactionsProcess accounts receivable/payableEnsure compliance with statutory law and financial regulationsReconcile reports to third-party records such as bank statementsOther tasks that may be given from time to timeRequirements Include3+ years of experience in bookkeeping3+ years of experience in other accounting tasks including AR, APBachelor's degree, ideally in accounting, business or related fieldAdvanced working knowledge of Quickbook Online and ExcelAbility to utilize advanced Excel functions such as Pivot Tables and vlookupsStrong written and verbal communication skillsVery detail-oriented and ability to review reports to look for errors and to create reports without errorsMust have superior organization and time management skillsPositive and upbeat attitudeHoursPart-time (20 hrs/week)
