About this opportunity Your work environment: We currently have a vacancy for a Shift Manager, based in Sagunto (Valencia, Spain).
Your mission in Crown: Ensure that all activities performed under your coordination comply with EHS and Quality standards.Be a driving force in the Safety culture, helping on the continuous improvement of the current system.Lead, mentor and coach your direct reports; build and maintain a trusting relationship with the team.Coordinate all available resources to ensure meeting KPIs related to EHS, Quality and Production.Monitor the planning and status of orders to properly coordinate resources for label changes, maintenance, and format changes.Properly allocate available resources to ensure the completion of scheduled preventive maintenance during the shift.Monitor and gather relevant information about events during the shift to create a clear report.Facilitate and ensure the effectiveness of all communications from the Business to all people on his/her shift.Supervise and collaborate in carrying out trials, especially of raw materials.Inspect the lines during the shift to ensure compliance with the production schedule and quality.Examine any issues or deviations occurred during the shift and take necessary corrective actions.Participate in and lead, when necessary, the implementation of continuous improvement projects related to EHS, quality, and/or production/processes.Ensure compliance with housekeeping standards and actively participate in 5S projects.About you: You have a BA in Industrial Engineering and additional training in Occupational Risk Prevention and Food Safety, ideally with 2-3 years' experience in a supervisory role in high-speed FMCG industries.You require outstanding communication skills to manage communications and feedback to employees and managers alike.You are process-oriented with good supervision, problem-solving, and analytical skills.You demonstrate evidence of working productively and efficiently under pressure to meet deadlines.Besides Spanish, written and spoken English is mandatory, with good organization skills.You are a proficient user of MS Office.
