Capgemini is seeking a talented and motivated Platform Engineer/SRE to join our dynamic team.
The Platform Engineer / Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable and reliable infrastructure solutions.
This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the availability, performance, and security of our platforms and services.
What will you do in the project?Design, implement, and manage scalable and resilient infrastructure using cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP).Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployments and improve operational efficiency.Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimizations to ensure high availability and reliability.Automate repetitive tasks and processes to reduce manual intervention and increase productivity.Collaborate with development teams to ensure that applications are designed with reliability and scalability in mind.Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues and incidents in a timely manner.Implement and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure proactive identification of issues.Conduct regular security assessments and implement best practices to protect infrastructure and data.Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 support for critical systems and services.Document infrastructure designs, processes, and procedures to ensure knowledge sharing and continuity.To feel comfortable in the position, you need to be able to get along well with:Proven at least 5 years of experience as a Platform Engineer, SRE, DevOps Engineer, or similar role.Strong knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.Proficiency in scripting and automation using languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.Understanding of networking concepts, security principles, and best practices.Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, or similar.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.Strong communication and collaboration skills.English level: B2 or more.Personal AttributesWe will evaluate all applications.
