For this reason, Glovo is seeking a talented and motivated security engineer to contribute and drive cyber defense initiatives. The role involves building and designing solutions that improve security monitoring, incident response, and proactive threat intelligence. Additionally, you will work closely with other members of the Security Team to support security tasks, awareness campaigns, and internal security projects.
Be a part of a team where you will: Participate, coordinate and perform incident response globally.Improve our defensive intrusion detection and incident response capabilities.Propose and create new standards and tools to improve security posture of Glovo environment.Provide security expertise while working across the company on critical security initiatives.Contribute to improving overall security of Glovo as a whole by participating in Security Team's initiatives.Support Security team in fostering security culture and designing awareness campaigns. You have: Professional experience in the defensive security area (such as SOC, Threat Hunting or Incident Response) or similar fields such as systems security or network security.Experience with monitoring, analyzing and understanding log sources for threat hunting.Solid experience with SIEM and/or IDS/IPS technologies and advanced knowledge of detection rules/signatures creation.Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python or Golang.Experience with security tooling and features in AWS or other cloud providers.Proven problem solving, analytical and investigative skills combined with the ability to develop creative solutions and navigate through ambiguity in a fast-paced, agile environment.Proven team player, collaborating well with others to tackle problems in a team-focused dynamic.Excellent written and communications skills, as well as strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.See computer security and its challenges as a game and enjoy it. Nice-to-haves: Experience with security tooling and features in AWS or other cloud providers.Understanding of DevOps culture and what are implications for defensive security.
