Who are we looking for: As a Design and Quantity Surveyor Supervisor, you will oversee the cost estimation, budgeting, and project design processes. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure accurate project cost forecasting, budget management, and adherence to Alfamart's quality standards and specifications. Oversee the preparation of detailed cost estimates and budgets for construction projects, ensuring all materials, labor, and associated costs are accurately accounted for. Lead the team in monitoring project expenditures to maintain budget compliance and provide regular budget status reports. Supervise collaboration with the design team to ensure project designs are functional, cost-effective, and aligned with Alfamart's specifications. Review project plans and specifications, providing input for design improvements to optimize both quality and cost efficiency. Conduct and supervise feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses for proposed projects, guiding the team in making informed decisions that align with strategic goals. Lead the preparation of tender documents, including bills of quantities, ensuring they are comprehensive and accurate for submission to contractors and suppliers. Assist in managing the contract administration process by reviewing and approving progress claims, variations, and final accounts. Evaluate and report on changes or deviations in project scope that may impact the overall budget and timeline. Ensure that all construction projects comply with local building codes, safety regulations, and Alfamart's internal quality standards throughout the construction process. What does it take to be part of the team? Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Quantity Surveying, or a related field. Minimum of 6 months - 1 year of experience in design, quantity surveying, or cost management in the construction industry, with supervisory responsibilities preferred. Strong knowledge of construction materials, project budgeting, and cost estimation techniques. Familiarity with architectural and engineering design processes and the ability to interpret plans and specifications. Proficiency in quantity surveying software and tools (e.G., AutoCAD, MS Project, or equivalent). #J-18808-Ljbffr
