As the Vulnerability Management Engineer, you'll be building software and engineering solutions to advance our cybersecurity capabilities and our own resilience. About the team: The Security Team is the focal point for all security activities across Swiss Re. We are responsible for cybersecurity engineering and operations, governance, risk, compliance, and defining as well as advancing the company's security strategy. As a part of the Security Department, Cyber Defense's mission is to monitor, detect and disrupt cybersecurity threats targeting Swiss Re.
In your role, you will Improve Swiss Re's cyber defense posture by integrating vulnerability information from different sources and enriching it with contextual information.Engineer solutions in a modern, API-driven multi-cloud environment.Deploy, operationalise and maintain vulnerability scanning solutions.Act as part of an agile team (Scrum).Lead and mentor other colleagues.Your qualifications What we need from youProven experience working as an Infrastructure Engineer OR Software Engineer with similar responsibilities.Fundamental knowledge of cybersecurity concepts and technologies.Knowledge of a major public cloud ecosystem (Microsoft Azure preferred).Excellent oral and written communication skills (English).Nice-to-have Security-enthusiastic attitude.Familiarity with vulnerability scoring methods, vulnerability management tools and processes.Knowledge of Azure security tooling.Experience with infrastructure-as-code technologies.Keywords:
