Job Description
Job Duties Include: Reporting to the Night Public Supervisor, the Night Public Spaces Attendant is responsible for ensuring all public areas of the hotel are clean and tidy.
Consistently offer professional, engaging and friendly serviceResponsible for following all established and future Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's). These will include but are not limited to reporting to work, signing in and out of master, sectional or general keys, sequence of service, and lost & foundClean assigned public areas throughout the hotelEmpty garbage in all public areas and clean public area restroomsClean all mirrors, inside of windows, wipe and dust all surfaces; keeping all brass shinyResponsible for moving and placing furniture back to its original placeVacuum carpets where neededReport necessary maintenance itemsFollow all safety and sanitation policiesEnsure a safe work environment is maintained at all timesFollow departmental health & safety tools including ALLSAFE, WCB & WHMIS training programs, policies and practicesCommunicate effectively with the Maintenance department regarding guest rooms and public areasAdhere to all hotel environmental policies, programs and initiativesOther duties as assigned Qualifications
Your Skills & Qualifications: Previous Housekeeping experience is an assetAble to work well independently with little supervisionExcellent communication and organizational skillsStrong interpersonal and problem solving abilitiesHighly responsible and reliableAbility to focus attention on guests needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times Additional Information
