You can visit our website (macrogen-europe.Com) to find out more about our company.For the dynamic, rapidly developing European market, we are looking for a talented and motivated Junior Lab Technician to be based in our Amsterdam office.Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) Junior Lab Technician, fulltime 40 hours.ResponsibilitiesPerform the experimental process to get the sequencing results within the promised time; Sample receiving and registration in the LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System); Quality and quantity check for DNA and RAN samples; DNA and RNA extraction from samples; Do library preparation for sequencing; Try to refine process and to save the experimental cost; Review the sequencing results to improve the experimental protocol and to increase the success rate; Communicate with other lab technicians in the laboratory effectively to find the best solutions for the complaints of customers and to improve the results; Prepare and update ISO and Standard Operation Procedure (SOP) documents, and; Engage in other administrative work to assist sales activity.QualificationsBachelor or master's in life science (molecular biology, biotechnology, or other relevant fields) is a mustLab experience is requiredHands-on NGS laboratory skills such as library preparation and sequencing preferredExperience in LIMS is an advantageAble to perform well under pressure and quickly adopt new experimental protocolsResult-oriented and an excellent team player with high-level prioritization skillsExperience working in a multi-national team environmentExcellent written and verbal communication skills in English#J-18808-Ljbffr
