.Job Description:An opportunity for a Radio Systems Engineer has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space, Getafe (Madrid). The selected candidate will join the Radio Systems Department.Main Tasks and Responsibilities: Radio system integration in C295 and NGF platforms.Involvement in other Airbus DS Military Aircraft platforms (EF2000, A400M, MRTT, ED).Allocating aircraft requirements to a Communications System.Defining the architecture and specifications of the Communications system.Elaborating engineering design documentation.Being responsible for Communications system design, integration, qualification, and certification.Supporting feasibility studies for new products/user needs, etc.Supplier technical management.Supporting the whole design process including design review meetings.Supporting meetings with end customers.Supporting Certification and Qualification process.Supporting Technical Publications (AFM, FCOM, etc.).Supporting transversal areas such as Services, Production, Procurement, etc.Supporting test campaign sequencing, test procedures & facilities.Monitoring and supporting tests and performing real-time analysis of test results.Contribution to R&T programs related to SDR/SCA Radios.Being up to date with international regulations: ICAO, FAA, EASA, EUROCONTROL, etc.Required Skills and Experience: Telecommunications Engineering degree or similar.3 years of experience in systems engineering or development of avionics systems.Good knowledge of Communication Functions in other platforms.Background knowledge: Inmarsat/Iridium Satcom, Radios (V/UHF, VHF, HF), Civil Datalink, 4G & 5G technologies.International project experience.Strong English and Spanish skills.Good communication skills and proactive approach to problem solving.Ability to work under strict timescales as part of an integrated and multifunctional team.Assertiveness.Open-minded and active to new challenges.Benefits: Vacation days and additional days-off along the year (+35 days off in total).Attractive salary and compensation package.Hybrid model of working when possible, promoting work-life balance (40% remote work).Collective transport service in some sites.Benefits such as health insurance, employee stock options, retirement plan, or study grants.On-site facilities (among others): free canteen, kindergarten, medical office.Possibility to collaborate in different social and corporate social responsibility initiatives.Excellent upskilling opportunities and great development prospects in a multicultural environment.Special rates in products & benefits.This job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company's success, reputation, and sustainable growth
