DESCRIPTIONAre you looking for a challenging career in business-development? The Fashion team at Amazon, one of the world's leaders in e-commerce, is looking for New Account Managers (business-development professionals) to join its Marketplace team based in Madrid (Spain).Your role will be focused on contributing to new business acquisition in the Fashion space through hunting, specifically phone/email-based prospecting and recruiting of new selling partners who can bring their wide range of products, pricing, and availability to the Amazon Marketplace. Once launched, you will also work with them as an account manager - helping them grow their business on Amazon. Lastly, you will be responsible for using feedback from selling partners to find opportunities to improve Amazon's programs, services, processes, systems, and tools for all selling partners.YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:Identify, prospect and recruit high-potential selling partners for Amazon European marketplaces, via phone or email.Effectively prioritize and lead a pipeline of selling partners to consistently meet/exceed sales targets.Be a business partner for new selling partners providing them with data-driven insights and advice to optimize their success on the Amazon European websites.Work closely with new selling partners, educating them about Amazon's high standards of delivery and customer experience.Enable selling partners to learn and master Amazon's tools and systems so they may become self-sufficient in handling their catalog, inventory and performance efficiently and to the required standards.Learn and understand the specificities of the Fashion categories to spot popular brands, trends, seasonal items and pricing to best tailor your pitch and advice to selling partners.Track and report business development results, analyze data, interpret reports and information for your portfolio of selling partners.Prioritize your time optimally to achieve your targets in a KPI-driven environment.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS6 months to 3 years' of related experience.Fluency in Spanish and English.Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Management, Engineering or related degree required.Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to explain complex concepts simply.Interested in new technologies, capable internet user.Computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).Ability to work with a wide range of people at all decision-making levels.Experience solving analytical problems, either in professional experience (data analysis) or education.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSExperience with data analytics, either in a professional or academic capacity.Experience in Internet, e-commerce and retail companies is preferable.Supply chain management, operations and process improvement knowledge.Knowledge of additional languages.Amazon is an equal opportunities employer.
