Responsibilities: Monitor and maintain the overall health of the network, identifying and correcting potential issues before they impact operations. Design, develop and implement high availability solutions to ensure continuous network connectivity. Analyse network performance and suggest improvements to optimise efficiency and reliability. Working with engineering teams to integrate new technologies and ensure their compatibility with the existing infrastructure. Develop disaster recovery plans and participate in simulation exercises to ensure network resilience. Ensure comprehensive documentation of network configurations, operational procedures and best practices. Participate in on-call duties to ensure 24/7 network availability and respond to critical incidents. Work with security teams to identify and mitigate potential network risks. Skills required: Solid experience in the design, deployment and maintenance of large-scale network infrastructures. Proficiency in network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF, etc.) and switching and routing technologies. Advanced skills in network troubleshooting and performance analysis. Knowledge of high availability and load balancing principles. Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Experience with network monitoring tools such as Nagios, Zabbix, or equivalent. Cisco certification (CCNA, CCNP) or equivalent would be an advantage. Education and experience: University degree in computer science, electrical engineering or related field. Relevant work experience in networks and connectivity. Previous experience in a similar role within a technology company would be an asset. We positively value all work or study experience abroad.
