We are looking for a new team member to join a highly motivated team of networking experts.
As a Network Engineer, you will be responsible for the planning, operation, and continuous development of our global hosting networks at IONOS and Arsys data center networks.
You can expect modern, globally distributed, and highly scalable infrastructures.

Administration and troubleshooting of highly available and complex network infrastructures.Creation and implementation of modern network designs.Assessment and evaluation of new technologies and products.Testing and evaluation of new features, as well as planning and implementation of international configurations.Support business goals through efficient operational architecture, active lifecycle management, and agile processes in an agile NetOPS environment.Conception, configuration, and development of solutions for network automation.Minimum Requirements:Computer science degree or equivalent education.Minimum of two years of work experience in networking.Knowledge of common routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, and overlay technologies like VXLAN.Experience with traditional network vendors like Cisco and Juniper, as well as network function implementation in Linux systems.Passion and enthusiasm for new technologies like network disaggregation with whitebox switches, SONiC, and Cumulus.Preference for automation with Ansible, Puppet, and Python instead of manual repetition.Like us, you are a fan of open source, especially Linux.Ability to communicate fluently with an international team in English and Spanish.We offer a fixed salary and flexible benefits such as health insurance, daycare allowance, and meal vouchers.
