And you'll experience an inclusive culture that welcomes bold ideas and empowers you to own them to completion.We are looking to hire a Network Technician to join our growing team within Networking. Your responsibilities would involve delivering the hardware, configuration and fiber connectivity of interdependent scaling projects across several data center locations. You will work closely with both internal customers and external vendors to facilitate smooth project execution in association with Technical Program Managers.Key job responsibilitiesWorking closely with our Network Engineering & Network Technical Project Manager teams to ensure fast, smooth rollout of established designs and products.Managing work priorities through ticketing system and workflows & collaborating with various stakeholders to remove project obstacles.Troubleshooting networking, routing and inter connectivity issues, including troubleshooting of network device configuration and low-level application interaction.Troubleshooting cabling infrastructure connectivity issues, including patch panels and patch cords.Specifying Power and Cooling requirements and ensuring Hardware Racking/Stacking completed for new equipment.Completing customer requests via Remedy trouble ticketing system and project management workflows.Participating in the migration, basic configuration and rollout of new or upgraded hardware.You will be required to travel, up to 20% travel outside traditional work area may be required possibly including international travel.BASIC QUALIFICATIONSTechnical Diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field; or Certifications in a relevant field (CCENT, Network+, CCNA)2+ years of experience with network cabling, optic types, and test equipment (VFL, power meter, and OTDR etc.)Must be fluent or at least advanced level in EnglishPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSExperience with cabling infrastructure best practices and methodologiesKnowledge of major Command Line Protocols (Cisco IOS, JunOS, etc)Experience with ethernet and IP networkingExperience in large scale data center network implementations and supportExperience working in virtualized enterprise networking environmentsFamiliarity with common networking terms and fabric-based network designExperience with enterprise level infrastructure technologies (Routers, Switches, Load Balancers, Firewalls etc.)AWS values diverse experiences.
