Job Description Position Overview: We are looking for an experienced NetSuite Administrator with a deep understanding of financial operations to manage and enhance our NetSuite ERP system. The ideal candidate will have a strong finance background and proven experience in administering NetSuite, ensuring it supports our financial objectives and integrates seamlessly with other systems. Initially the role will need to help complete the merging of two NetSuite instances to be completed by the end of 2024. The role will be supported by a Functional Consultant and Developer as well as business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
NetSuite Administration:
Administer and configure NetSuite to meet the company's financial requirements, including setting up and maintaining charts of accounts, financial reporting, and customizations.
Troubleshoot and resolve system issues related to financial processes, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting.
Use complex saved searches and imports to access and consolidate data.
Analyze and streamline financial processes within NetSuite to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Work closely with the finance team to understand their needs and implement system enhancements that support financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance
Identify opportunities to streamline and automate overly manual processes.
Reporting and Analytics:
Develop and maintain custom financial reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights for financial decision-making.
Monitor system performance and generate financial reports to support month-end and year-end closing processes.
System Integration:
Manage integrations between NetSuite and other financial systems or third-party applications, ensuring data accuracy and consistency across platforms.
Collaborate with IT and external vendors to address integration issues and implement improvements.
Help review adjacent systems and identify opportunities for consolidation.
User Training and Support:
Provide training and support to end-users on NetSuite financial modules and functionalities.
Create and maintain user documentation and provide ongoing support for financial system queries.
Compliance and Security:
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls by configuring system settings and access controls appropriately.
Conduct regular audits and reviews of system access and security settings.
Project Management:
Lead or participate in projects related to NetSuite upgrades, enhancements, and system migrations with a focus on financial modules.
Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure project deliverables are met within scope, timeline, and budget.
Qualifications Qualifications & Experience:
Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a NetSuite Administrator or senior Finance NetSuite user with a focus on financial modules and processes.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in NetSuite ERP, especially in financial modules (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets).
Strong understanding of financial principles and practices. Specifically multi subsidiary and intercompany transactions.
Experience with NetSuite SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, and SuiteAnalytics is highly desirable.
Business Analysis Skills: Ability to understand complex financial data and provide insights to improve business processes, specifically Month End. The ability to understand where processes can be automated is a must. Familiarity in writing user stories, and collaboration with developers is desirable.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with senior technical and non-technical stakeholders. Fluent English is required.
Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing system issues.
