About the Job: We are seeking a skilled Marketing Technical Artist to bridge the gap between art and technology within our marketing team.
In this role, you will be responsible for integrating art assets, animations, visual effects (VFX), and sound effects (SFX) into marketing materials using the Unity engine.
Your technical expertise and creative insight will be crucial in bringing our marketing visions to life, ensuring seamless execution of campaigns across various platforms.
What you will do: Promotional asset production: Create high-quality marketing videos and static visuals using the Unity engine.Asset integration: Import and integrate 2D and 3D art assets, animations, VFX, and SFX into marketing projects using the Unity engine, ensuring they meet technical specifications and performance benchmarks.Rigging and skinning: Prepare 3D and 2D (sprite) assets for animation through effective rigging and skinning techniques.Pipeline development: Develop and maintain efficient pipelines and tools for the art and animation teams to streamline the production process.Collaboration: Work closely with artists, animators, developers, UI/UX designers, and game designers to integrate assets effectively and maintain artistic consistency.Optimization: Optimize 3D models, textures, and animations to ensure high performance and visual quality across various marketing platforms.Problem-solving: Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to art production, providing solutions that balance artistic vision and technical constraints.Documentation: Maintain technical documentation for tools, pipelines, and processes to support team efficiency and knowledge sharing. What you will need: Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in the marketing teams of mobile gaming companies.Technical proficiency: Strong understanding of real-time rendering requirements, rendering pipelines, and rendering capabilities of different embedded systems.Software expertise: Proficiency in Unity, Photoshop, Texture Packer, Visual Studio, and Spine.Scripting skills: Basic knowledge of scripting languages like C# or similar for relevant applications.Version control: Experience with version control software such as Git and Perforce.Artistic understanding: Solid knowledge of art and animation pipelines, including rigging, VFX, and shader development.
