You'll be a digital advocate in the organisation and make a real impact on our business and our users - a global audience of language learners and travellers across more than 100 countries.
The websites you'll be responsible for are Kaplan International Languages, Alpadia, and ESL.You will be working as a part of the wider Digital team,and reporting into the Head of Digital Products, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of work for the squad responsible for the e-commerce and growth initiatives.
At present, we have three product squads set up with dedicated tech lead, FE / BE developers and QA.
You will be working alongside two other product owners, website content producers and our Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO) team.
**Job Description**:Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:- Owning your team's backlog and roadmap, providing direction and constantly prioritising based on the business's needs and customer insights- Crafting epics, stories, bugs and acceptance criteria to direct your technical team based on business requirements- Management of agile ceremonies to keep projects on track: stand-ups, backlog refinement, demos and retros- Conducting data analysis and promoting a data-driven decision-making approach- Developing a deep understanding of the customer and product needs- Stakeholder management taking requests from the business.You will be skilled at "translating" business talk to the technical team and tech talk to senior managers outside of the department- Forward planning and informing the IT roadmap, feeding into the strategy with your product owner knowledge- Constantly evaluating and identifying opportunities for process improvement, and working with the team in implementing changes to processes- Advising on the timeline and dependencies required for the implementation, including clear breakdowns- Defining and updating high-level technical documentation to track the evolution of the key functionality of the platform**Qualifications**:The attributes we are looking for in our Digital Product Manager are:- Experience of working autonomously as a Digital Product Manager in previous organisations- Customer-focused and dedicated to delivering value to the end users- Highly capable of working within agile project management methodologies- Experience leading a technical team of developers and QA- Proven success in delivering digital products, able to demonstrate the results of the projects you have delivered within your portfolio- Enthusiastic, with a desire to learn and expand knowledge- Excellent communication skills, including fluent spoken and written English**Desirable skills**- Communication skills in other languages- Experience with A/B testing tools- Experience delivering e-commerce projects- PMP / PRINCE II / Agile CertifiedAdditional InformationWhat We Offer You:- The opportunity to develop your skills in an international environment, in the exciting field of tourism- A dynamic work atmosphere- Place of work: Barcelona (Spain)- Permanent Contract with 6 months trial period (full time)- Flexibility to work 2 days from home- Free coffee and Tea- Ticket restaurant- Free breakfast and fresh fruit- 2 weeks free language course abroad- Start date: asap- Reference: ESL_Marketing- Diversity and inclusion are important to us, and we're constantly working to improve these aspects.
