We are looking for a Translator to join our Translation team.
Key responsibilities: Translating, localizing and proofreading texts for e-commerce from English to Dutch (EN>NL) Communicating with freelancers through an external platform: assigning tasks, responding to inquiries, providing feedback, and coordinating project details Supervising and reviewing freelancers' work in various languages, including quality assurance and ensuring adherence to project standards Carrying out basic administrative tasks, including invoice management, processing payments through various platforms, and related duties Requirements: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Localisation, Language Studies, Linguistics or equivalent professional experience C2 level in the target language (Dutch) C1 level in Spanish and English (proficiency in an additional European language will be considered a valuable asset) Experience using CAT tools, particularly MemoQ Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace, with a demonstrated ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and tools Desired skills: Experience creating SEO-friendly content Experience in online advertising campaigns (Google Ads, Facebook & Instagram) Knowledge of the sports apparel field (cycling, fitness, winter sports) Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Verifiable translation experience Residence in Asturias or being open to relocating will be positively assessed Conditions: 6-month initial contract + switch to permanent position if both parties meet expectations Work Modality: We value candidates who reside in Asturias, but we're open to hearing from talent across Spain. Anticipated start date for this position: January-February 2025. Salary to be discussed upon interview Uninterrupted shift day every Friday of the year, as well as Monday to Friday in July and August. The duration of a workday during these periods is 7h15min, and 7h, respectively. Split shift day during the rest of the year, duration of split shift day: 8h15min. Flexible timetable every day of the year, with an entry range between 08:00h and 10:00h, and at midday on split shift days between 14:00h and 16:30h with a min. 30 min lunch break. Extra 20 minutes mid-morning break every day. 22 days annual leave Day off on your birthday (if it falls on a weekend or bank holiday, it can be moved to another working day right before or after your birthday).
