We are recruiting a National Sales Manager for our international client, a leading designer, manufacturer, and integrator of finishing equipment.
With extensive experience in the metallurgy and aerospace sectors, our client's solutions provide cutting-edge solutions to clients across the industry, contributing to sustainable growth in the U.S. market. The National Sales Manager will report directly to our client's President, working closely to ensure the alignment of local strategies with the company's global objectives.
The role involves overseeing the overall management and performance of the U.S. subsidiary, while prospecting clients and identifying potential distributors to expand our client's presence throughout the United States. Additionally, you will act as the main point of contact between the U.S. market and headquarters.
Location: 100% remote Rust Belt Area – (Illinois, Michigan, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Wisconsin, Indiana, Maryland, and Missouri).
MISSIONSDevelop and implement the sales strategy for the U.S. market.Identify and cultivate new market opportunities and partnerships.Prospect potential clients according to the sales strategy developed in collaboration with the company's President.Analyze market trends and propose strategic adaptations to maximize sales.Conduct active competitive intelligence to identify threats and opportunities in the U.S. market.Identify target clients based on the company's strategy.Manage and update client database.Oversee project follow-up actions until the equipment is operational (manage the client relationship).Ensure client retention (client satisfaction and follow-up).Support/advise clients and the sales team (initially distributors, and later on internal sales team).Report to management through a weekly activity report.Contribute to the definition of the U.S. subsidiary's objectives.Attend various trade shows.Propose and manage communications actions.PROFILEHave a business or related degree (industrial engineering, mechatronics) with 4-10 years of professional experience.Self-starter with the commercial tenacity to drive the company toward new opportunities.Speak English. Any additional language is a plus (French in particular).Solution-oriented, team-player and self-driven.Direct contact and focused on satisfying customers.Have experience providing technical guidance and advice to clients based on the company's capabilities.Have experience in reporting after-sales issues and suggesting machine improvements.Ensure client solvency and proactively alert regarding potential risks.Prepare and oversee U.S. sales.
