How to contribute to our vision: Drive design for manufacturability (DFM).
Manage new design, design reviews, and engineering change notes to provide guidance and feedback, being a contributor for standardization of design/design features/design guidelines/testing & acceptance criteria.
Develop complete assembly processes: Baseline Bill of Process definition, control, update, and improvement for nacelles main modules (nacelle, hub, drive train), according to SGRE Onshore industrial strategy in a multiproduct environment.
Analyze the design and product engineering specifications (Including DFMEA) for new designs, design reviews, and engineering changes (ECM), to identify process impacts/necessities and develop the appropriate action plan and its following up to the implementation.
Work jointly with manufacturing engineering local team to develop the optimum material flow strategy within the factory (VSM), process flow chart, and operations & tasks structure (routings) within Lean Manufacturing principles.
Define the most appropriate BoM structure for each wind farm project and new products, according to process requirements and definition, assuring the harmonization through all plants and platforms.
Develop PFMEA's within APQP4Wind guidelines, managing the critical characteristics and assuring the correct risks coverage.
Operations & tasks balancing, determination of the optimum work content and cycle time to assure the takt time demanded for every plant in prototype, test assemblies, and rollouts.
Establish the best "make or buy" strategy, combining the optimum process definition for the factory and supply chain strategy, and collaborate in CAPEX analysis, consolidation, and validation per plant.
Coordinate and manage the performance of comprehensive and detailed process work instructions.
Participate within multidisciplinary teams for critical problem solving (8D's)
