Clarivate is seeking an experienced and innovative UX Researcher to join our dynamic team in the Design Hub of Barcelona Office.

About You - experience, education, skills, and accomplishments BS or higher in one of the following: Degree program focused on the human experience as it relates to design and technology (User Experience, Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors, etc.
); or Field(s) related to behavioral and/or social science research, including (but not limited to) Psychology, Sociology, Cultural/Social Anthropology, Political Science and Economics (in this case, completion of UX and/or related certifications achieved within the profession is a plus).
2 or more years of professional experience in a research-related role Solid understanding of UX design principles and methodologies.
High empathetic nature and aptitude for the end user of a product.
High customer experience curiosity and the enthusiasm for digging deeper to understand "why" people do the things the way they do them.
Creative in thinking and analyzing information.
Has the ability to look beyond the surface to unlock new ways to solve customer problems.
Solid analytical skills combined with user experience research methods.
Ability to write clear and concise questions and tasks in terms test participants can understand.
Solid command of the English language, excellent writing skills, solid proofreading and editing skills with attention to detail.
Knowledge of basic statistics.
It would be great if you also had... Knowledge/familiarity of the legal profession and/or legal aspects of the intellectual property lifecycle is a plus.
What will you be doing in this role?
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand the research questions.
Synthesize analytics, customer insight, and help data to focus research.
Track patterns in analytics data to inform trends in usage.
Conduct unmoderated and moderated testing/workshops, research repositories, qualitative data analysis, etc.
Analyze and synthesize qualitative and quantitative data into findings and insights.
Identify competitors' strengths and weaknesses, regulatory environment, and market trends; evaluates gaps.
Facilitate workshops within a product/project context: design thinking, discovery, requirements, stakeholder alignment, etc.
Communicate with customer touchpoint teams to acquire relevant user data.
Document research findings and insights into clear, easy-to-understand reports that persuade Product and UX teams.
Develop an understanding of the customer profile/persona for products in the assigned segment.
Product you will be developing The UX Researcher will be responsible for designing and delivering exceptional digital experiences for our users across multiple platforms of IP Patent intelligence, search, and analytics products; Derwent Innovation, IncoPat, Innography and Analytics.
About the Team You'll be joining a UX/UI Global team with more than 50 colleagues across the globe, working on a hybrid model from Barcelona Office and being part of a local fast pace growing design community, working on new products, and infusing change in the organization!
Hours of Work This is a full-time (40 hours per week), with flexibility.
