Detalles del empleoTipo de empleo:Jornada completaUbicación:Principado de AsturiasDescripción completa del empleo:Establish and implement a HSSE System and perform safety audits in accordance with requirements of Statutory Authorities and ArcelorMittal policies and procedures, in coordination with the EPCM Consultant.Ensure that safety is integrated into all phases of the Project, from design through construction until completion, and ensure that all works either at Site or at other facilities (e.g.
construction yards) are performed under safe conditions, and that high environmental standards and specific cleanliness are maintained throughout construction, installation, Commissioning and Start-up.Be responsible for the preparation, implementation and management of the HSE Procedures Manual and of the rest of HSE deliverables for the Project.Lead the ArcelorMittal Project HSSE Team.Supervise the performance, coordinate and manage the EPCM Consultant and the rest of project subcontractors to ensure full compliance with ArcelorMittal's safety philosophy and safety requirements.Drive and support audits and HSSE verification activities.Ensure that ArcelorMittal health, safety and environmental policies, procedures and requirements are implemented across the entire project.Provide HSE advice and coaching on HSSE requirements to the Project Management Team.Support risk and hazard management activities.Support the procurement works to make sure that HSSE policies and requirements are part of all Tender requisitions, bid evaluations and purchase orders.Make sure that Contractors' design and documents are reviewed to ensure compliance with HSE requirements and policies.Ensure the coordination of the project with the rest of operating units in the ArcelorMittal Gijón Site in relation with HSSE.Ensure the coordination with the Program Central Team in relation with HSSE.Requirements:Engineering Degree.High technical expertise and management capacity.Experience in developing Process Safety in industrial environments (HAZOP, Risk Analysis, etc.
).Experience as HSSE manager in major industrial construction projects.Experience in developing HSSE Management Systems.Strong safety leader that is able to inspire others.Ability to work in an international team.Expertise on the Health and Safety and Environmental legislation in Spain.English (high level) and Spanish.Work permit in Spain.A HSSE System shall ensure that:Statutory obligations are complied with.Safety training, both general induction and trade specific, is given to all specific employees.Appropriate personal safety equipment regulations are developed and enforced.Regular Safety meetings are held with all Cluster Site contract employees.Safety inspections are carried out and reported.Accident statistics are prepared and issued monthly and are displayed at Cluster Site.Incident investigations, root cause analysis (RCA's) and follow ups are performed.Adequate first aid and medical facilities are provided and maintained at EPCM Consultant Office to handle routine medical examinations, illness, and accidents.Appropriate emergency services and procedures are in place at the Cluster Site(s) including evacuation to the nearest hospitals.Entrance to Cluster Site(s) is controlled, monitored and recorded.Appropriate security measures are enforced.
