Agrolimen is financially very solid, operating leading brands in four Strategic Businesses: Human food Europe and Africa and Pet food in Europe and USA. Agrolimen has put sustainability at the core of its long-term strategy and is currently at the start of its journey. The key piece for its long-term success is having the right resources in place to frame the strategic guidelines and accelerate the pace, hence Agrolimen has created a new strategic role for the Group,Director of Sustainability. This is a senior position who reports directly to the Agrolimen Chief Strategy & Finance Officer, with regular contact with the Agrolimen CEO, Agrolimen Board and top management of the four Strategic Businesses.Key Accountabilities Lead the definition of Agrolimen's sustainability strategy in close collaboration with the four Strategic Businesses.Lead the sustainability transformation by ensuring group consistency in strategic guidelines and depth-quality in the execution across subsidiaries at corporate level.Provide support to Strategic Businesses in implementing overall change aligned to Agrolimen's key initiatives and values.Lead analysis of organisational data, identifying trends and themes and collaborating with Strategic Businesses in defining and developing specific initiatives, providing advice and support on execution.Establish and manage relationships, collaborations and alliances with external organisations in sustainability issues.Ensure sustainability initiatives are effectively communicated and marketed both internally and externally.Key Competences Strong sustainability values, a true believer in sustainability because it is the 'right thing to do'. But also, strong strategic mind, who understands sustainability as a 'strategic opportunity to enhance growth and improve competitive position', much more than a 'compliance and risk control requirement.'Technical skills: A technical understanding of key ESG topics with sustainability experience and qualifications. Experience in consumer goods is a plus.Proven track record of defining and implementing sustainability strategies on an international scale.Understanding of the rapidly evolving sustainability landscape.Sound knowledge of related legislation and international agreements.Having a relevant network around sustainability and is actively connected: Experts (consulting, academics, peers,) and industry access (to materialise coalitions, alliances, memberships, and assure Agrolimen is always well connected to sustainability trends).Experience in working 'by projects'.Experience in leading sustainability transformations.Analytical skills: Solid problem solving
