We are currently looking for a Global Logistics Analyst to join the logistics team in Corbion.
As a Global Logistics Analyst, you assist the logistics department worldwide with their requests related to Sea freight, controlling shipments process and improving the entire logistics chain here at Corbion.
Responsibilities Managing logistics activities in Corbion Global logistics department. Support to local Logistics teams. Support to Global logistics projects. Shipments follow up. Handling of incidents, complaints, and questions from customers/to logistics service providers. Handling Logistics projects and being a focal point for continuous improvement. Relation management. Performance Measurement of locally used vendors. Ensure existence, maintenance, and validity of SLAs and KPIs with local vendors. Responsible for collection and analysis of KPI reports of local vendors, as per the frequency & format agreed with the vendor. Manage vendor complaints with vendor's counterparts & escalate to Global Logistics or procurement if appropriate. Give performance feedback to Procurement for tender processes based on data captured during quarter/year. Keep control of demurrage/detention costs and approval of invoices when applicable. Administration of complaint and customer/vendor information in automated system. Ensure Supply Chain/Logistics corrective actions related to customer/vendor complaints. Together with QA, keep track of complaints to its closure. About You Bachelor's degree in Logistics or within a similar field. Minimum 3 years' experience working within the forwarding or shipping industries. Good command of English and preferably Spanish and/or Portuguese. Experience in Supply Chain/Logistics, Order handling, Transport, Export/import procedures and techniques.
