Job OverviewAn experienced Manager directly responsible for representing Global Supply Chain (GSC) within assigned Regions and acting as the primary link in the relevant market affiliate/s. This role has a direct impact on aligning commercial growth with Supply Chain Operations' long and short-term strategy.
Key ResponsibilitiesFocus on product demand, lead and execute strategic projects, enhance customer experience, and drive operational improvement.Build and create effective communication flow between the affiliate and Global Operations, acting as the link between Global Supply Chain and the assigned region/market.Develop strong business links, relationships, and influence across various functions (Marketing, Finance, QA, Legal, Commercial, Patient Advocacy, Government Affairs, Market Access, and Regulatory leads).Actively participate in affiliates' governance, regular meetings, and business reviews (leadership teams, country business reviews, integrated business plan).Collaborate with the Affiliate and Demand planners to leverage commercial strategies to optimize demand and supply resources and operational capabilities.Provide continuous business insights by working proactively with Commercial and Finance to balance demand and supply.Lead demand prioritization and develop a solid demand communication scheme by challenging forecasts and monitoring consumption trends.Participate in defining strategy and process improvements focused on Customer Experience within the Global Supply Chain function.Project manage cross-functional international projects, including the deployment of digital solutions and enhancing current operational and strategic capabilities.Lead local initiatives and projects related to products such as Early Access Programs (EAP), new product introductions (NPI), product transfers, retirement, donations, and compassionate use programs.Work closely with Global Distribution to share market-specific requirements and trends and coordinate mitigation and preventive action plans.Address, analyze, and solve problems in various business areas, selecting appropriate methods and practices while balancing business and customer benefits.Ensure Service Level Agreement and regulatory requirements are communicated efficiently and embedded in the Global Supply Chain end-to-end process (e.g., Controlled Distribution).Represent Customer Operations in major product-related projects within Global Supply Chain and lead business continuity plans for new product launches and retirements.Support initiatives related to product enhancement and safety, such as serialization.
