You will be based in any of our offices in Spain (Madrid, Barcelona, or Zaragoza) and working with diverse customers and colleagues along the region.DNV's SEMELA Solar & Storage Team is growing quickly to meet the expanding demand for expert solar energy advisory services in the region. We support utilities, regulators, developers, owners, and lenders with feasibility studies, technical due diligence, conceptual design & procurement support, and independent technical advisory services for either owner, lender or offtaker/procurer/regulator. You will be involved in independent and owner's engineering services through the entire lifecycle of solar projects, supported by colleagues from other disciplines, being part of a group of experts specialized in Environmental and Permitting Services. Most of the work will be desk-based, but travel for site and customer visits will be required at times (estimated at 5% to 20% of your time, depending on the projects you are involved in).Main duties will include but are not limited to:Execute and/or manage advisory services for projects in operation and under development as Project Development Support, Technical Due Diligence Processes, and Project Construction and Operation Support.Coordinate and manage DNV international internal resources, as well as subcontractors, for the execution of projects and ensure that projects are delivered on-time and within budget, as well as meeting Customers' expectations in terms of quality.Build an internal network to gain and share knowledge and opportunities.Position Qualifications:5+ years of professional experience in the renewable sector (preferable in consultancy or engineering companies); Experience in technical due diligence processes, with special focus on site assessment as well as on environmental and permitting review; Experience in project development; Lead and support independent qualitative and quantitative analysis; Willingness to travel across the country and internationally; Ability to work independently, with an internal team, and with external partner organizations; Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook; Valid driving license.Desirable qualifications include:Experience in Environmental, Social and Governance services will be a plus.Experience in Managing Advisory Services for Renewable Energies.Join us and you will:Work with dedicated and competent colleagues
