The Advanced Chronic Liver Disease Laboratory belongs to the Chronic Liver Disease Research Group at VHIR. We are interested in the mechanisms leading to liver fibrosis and portal hypertension in liver disease, mostly of metabolic injury and alcohol-related origin, as well as the immune and inflammatory underlying pathways.
