Job DescriptionWe are looking to hire an Account Executive to take ownership of some of our key Train Operating Company accounts.
You will be the first stop for commercial matters for your clients and expected to take ultimate responsibility for ensuring the various rail retailing products, services and bespoke development projects are delivered as agreed with the key customers.
You will be working closely with a small but experienced team, who will be able to guide and support you in the role, delivering excellent service to the customers.
This role sits within Trainline Partner Solutions (TPS), which is our B2B arm of the business providing industry leading rail and technology solutions to make the complex world of rail and ticketing simple.
The role will report into the Head of Commercial UK Carrier but will require regular interaction with both the General Manager and Vice President of Trainline Partner Solutions.
This role will be based out of our Head Office in Chancery Lane, Central London with occasional external meetings and travel across the UK.
Key ResponsibilitiesTake full day to day commercial ownership for several Train Operating Company accounts as the key interface between the clients and Trainline.Hold ultimate responsibility for ensuring the service and product as defined is delivered to the customer, working closely with Service Delivery, Project Management, Product and other teams.Own effective relationships at all levels up to C-suite within the client business and Trainline to maintain client satisfaction and minimise senior escalations.Manage escalations and BAU requests from the clients, ensuring a mutually positive outcome.Support the clients in gaining appropriate prioritisation for their projects within the Trainline Partner Solutions roadmap.Drive interactions with the clients to demonstrate Trainline value, instigate positive change and manage initiatives from concept to delivery.Promote effective communication internally and externally to ensure smooth running of the client relationships.
