.SEK International School EL Castillo needs to incorporate as soon as possible a Maths and Physics & Chemistry teacher to give classes in 3rd and 4th ESO. Functions: Plan, prepare, develop and deliver Mathematics and Physics and Chemistry courses in accordance with school curriculum guidelines, school requirements, IB Diploma Programme and Middle Years Programme (MYP) guidelines. Develop and present lesson plans using a variety of models and teaching techniques in the subject areas. Use relevant technology to support teaching. Collaborate with other teachers to review, develop and write new vertical and horizontal curriculum documents, assessment and reporting. Keep abreast of international developments in the field and in practice and methodology. Observe, monitor and evaluate students' learning and progress. Prepare assessment tasks and tests, homework and other projects. Model classroom inquiry practice and the IB learner profile. Differentiating courses of study and lessons to meet the individual needs of diverse learners, based on their academic ability and prior achievement. Maintain accurate and complete records of students' academic progress and achievement. Communicate student progress and evaluations to tutors and/or families. Maintain good student behaviour in the classroom and on school premises, in accordance with the school's disciplinary policies. Prepare the classroom environment and maintain a safe, secure and stimulating learning environment. Participate in meetings and professional development opportunities, as well as other school and institutional events. Be willing to participate in, cooperate with and possibly lead other initiatives in the school related to the development of school culture, leadership among pupils and the promotion of school values, such as projects, excursions, events and pastoral care of pupils, as a way of effectively meeting the personal, social (welfare) and academic needs of pupils and staff. Requirements: Degree in Mathematics, Physics, Engineering or similar. Master's degree in teaching. Previous teaching experience in Mathematics and Physics and Chemistry, preferably experience in international contexts. Level C1 English. Ability to communicate in Spanish. We offer: Fulltime job.
