SEK Catalunya needs to incorporate a English Teacher for 2024-2025 academic year to teach:Language Acquisition.Language.Literature.MISSION:Empowering students to become proficient communicators, critical thinkers, and lifelong learners through the exploration of literature, language, and effective communication strategies.FUNCTIONS:Attend department meetings and participate in collaborative planning sessions.Develop and implement teaching plans for the subject, and other areas within the department.Take part in standardizing assessment tasks.Contribute to curriculum research and improvement.Stay updated on the IB program guides taught.REQUIREMENTS:Degree in Philology or Linguistics.Teaching experience, preferably in one of the IB programmes (MYP and/or Diploma) in the areas of Language Acquisition and/or English Language and Literature.Native speaker or native speaker level. Speaking Spanish and Catalan will be valued.Microsoft Office user.Experience with other educational platforms to enhance classroom dynamics and promote such tools with the team will be appreciated.WE OFFER:Contract: Permanent.Schedule: 9:30 – 17:10 h.#J-18808-Ljbffr
