Job Description: The Opportunity

As a member of the ZEROe project, you will join a team of highly motivated and valuable people who are involved in aircraft concept exploration, technologies development, next generation industrial system and future hydrogen ecosystem preparation that will shape the development of our zero-emission aviation.
Your Accountabilities:
You will steer and coordinate all relevant materials and processes related to research and technologies activities in close collaboration with internal interfaces.
You will significantly contribute to verify and validate materials and processes while interacting with industrial and academic stakeholders.
You will launch and monitor the relevant test campaigns in close interaction with the material supply chain.
You will launch and lead research projects in the Spanish and European funding context.
You will align internationally with all related activities in France, Germany and the UK.
You will identify and close technological gaps during the maturation of composite technologies and integrate lessons learnt into the design process.
Who We Are Looking For:
Because ZEROe is preparing the future of aviation, we look for a highly skilled and passionate colleague, able to bring his/her energy and expertise into the Airbus engineering universe. As such:
You have a university degree in engineering or equivalent combined with several years of professional experience of general engineering or industrial process in the aerospace, automotive sector or in other domains.
You bring strong professional experience in composite materials as well as a fundamental understanding of composite materials properties under harsh environment such as hydrogen, cryogenic.
You are experienced in managing internal interfaces and external supplier and academic partners.
You have first experiences in the research and technology sector as well as in managing projects.
You are a highly motivated, customer-oriented and open-minded person with a great team spirit, sense of initiative and the ability to adapt to changes.
You show strong networking and communication skills while possessing a speak-up culture, the competency to identify optimization opportunities and to manage confidential topics.
Your English and Spanish are at a negotiation level.
