TasksEvent Planning and Execution: Assist with Event Coordination, ensuring each event runs smoothly.Vendor Liaison: Communicate with vendors and negotiate for services that can be sold to clients.Setup and Breakdown: Help with the setup and breakdown of events.Guest Services: Provide excellent service to guests.Inventory Management: Keep track of event supplies and materials.Marketing and Promotion: Create engaging visuals and materials to showcase the venue's features.Social Media Management: Implement strategies on social media to highlight the venue.Market Research: Connect with DMCs, wedding planners, and suppliers to expand the network.Email Marketing: Utilize Mailchimp to send targeted campaigns promoting the venue.Analytics and Reporting: Analyze marketing data to maximize event bookings and revenue.Administrative Support: Manage schedules for events and meetings.Budget Tracking: Monitor event budgets and track expenses.Communication: Serve as a key point of contact for clients and vendors.Documentation: Keep comprehensive records of all events and marketing efforts.General Support: Provide support to the marketing and events team.RequirementsEssential Qualifications and Skills: Degree in Marketing, Hospitality, Event Management, or related.Experience: Experience in events, marketing, or hospitality.Familiarity: Canva, Photoshop, or InDesign preferred.Languages: Fluent in both Spanish and English.Technical Skills: Proficient in social media and Microsoft Excel.Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.Organizational Ability: Excellent at managing multiple tasks and events.Customer Service: High focus on providing great service.Transport: Must have a driving license and access to a car.Flexibility: Willing to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.Attention to Detail: Detail-oriented in all aspects of work.Desirable Attributes: Initiative, adaptability, passion for creating memorable events, and teamwork.BenefitsDirect Mentorship: Work closely with the owner and the Marketing & Event Director.Flexible Management: Enjoy a management style that values independence and results.Growth Opportunity: Be part of an exciting journey as we expand from 4 to 20+ employees.We look forward to reviewing your application and learning more about the unique qualities you can bring to our expanding team.
