OverviewMicrosoft's Cloud Operations + Innovation (CO+I) organization is the engine that powers our cloud services. Our data center construction team is dedicated to delivering the highest quality data centers for our cloud services.As we continue to revolutionize the way construction projects are planned, managed, and executed, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Manager to join our diverse and inclusive team.This role will play a crucial part in ensuring the high standard and reliability of our product.As part of the regional Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) Execution Oversight Team (EOT), the key responsibilities are to work cross-functionally with other EOT team members to provide oversight on the consistent implementation of the project SLA and functional governance, perform project health analysis against the approved SLAs / scop / execution plan / cost / schedule, assist with the project setup, evaluate the site resource effectiveness, conduct spot audits, and assist with onboarding and training of the site-based team.Team will be dedicated to this scope and will not be assigned to specific projects or other functional / regional activities.The project reviews and assessment will be as per the EOT team roadmap and / or managed by exception should a critical priority be raised within the region.The team will be based in a hub location and will travel together to the site as per the roadmap and business critical priorities.25-50% work from home and 50-75% expected travel.As an Integration and Technical Integration Lead (ITIM) on the Data Center Delivery EOT Team, you will be an experienced ITIM capacity delivery manager with well-rounded experience of delivering projects.Your focus will be ITIM capacity delivery while upholding the company values of safety, quality, schedule, contractual obligations, and cost in challenging project environments.QualificationsRequired QualificationsSelf-starter with demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and deadlines simultaneously.Experience managing large scale enterprise projects with both localized and virtual teams.Cross-group collaborator and influencer across teams and organizations with proven success in participating in cross-functional teams to deliver on key projects.Must be able to work within a dynamic team of full-time employees and consultants.High personal standard to deliver a thoughtful, polished and quality work product.Bachelor's degree in computer science, business management, electrical engineering, construction management or similar experience.Experience in IT fit out or construction related project management.Preferred QualificationsBICSI RCDD or similar Telecommunications Design / Installation Experience is a plus.Previous Data Center construction / IT Fit out or management experience a plus.Construction Health & Safety Knowledge.PMI (Project Management Institute) PMP (Project Management Professional) certification highly desired.Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and / or government security screening requirements are required for this role.
