We are looking for a Scientific Comms and Events Manager to lead and execute all key events engaging VHCP.
Position Snapshot Location: Esplugues de LlobregatType of Contract: Full time, temporary position (12 months)Type of work: Hybrid/Remote WorkLanguage: Fluent Business EnglishThe Role The role of the Event Manager is to develop and implement a strategic plan for events targeting veterinarians, nurses, and students. This includes creating an event calendar, managing and negotiating event partnerships, and overseeing scientific communication activities.
What You'll Do Develop and implement a strategic plan for events targeting veterinarians, nurses, and students at a European level, including symposiums, congress events, webinars, and scientific communication activities.Create and manage an event calendar, coordinating with key markets to ensure local events align with the overall strategy.Lead the tender process to select event partners and build a network of individuals to execute events.Set up a roadmap for scientific communication, including events, webinars, scientific publications, and engagement activities targeted towards veterinarians.Design and execute engagement programs for students, including activities, webinars, professional seeding, and other initiatives to foster involvement.Create plans for nurses, including engagement activities, trainings, webinars, annual events, and recommendation reward schemes.We Offer You We offer more than just a job. Minimum Qualifications Minimum 2 years' experience in scientific marketing communication and partnerships.Veterinary degree.Experience working in the companion animal industry, preferably veterinary pharma industry or veterinary pet food industry.Good communication skills to effectively address all levels within the organization.Bonus Points If You Have Experience in Digital Comms.
