Job Description: We are seeking a Murex Support Functional Specialist to join our client's team in the financial services sector.
The specialist will work as part of a support team, providing solutions to users and ensuring optimal utilization of the Murex platform to achieve business objectives.
This role involves collaborating with multiple teams, resolving issues, and driving process improvements.
Responsibilities: Provide functional support to users and development teams, ensuring smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
Monitor development and testing progress, and address any arising issues.
Deliver periodic on-duty support for Murex environments.
Proactively identify and resolve impediments or risks, including escalating to relevant teams.
Drive process improvements and facilitate effective communication and collaboration between roles.
Actively contribute to enhancing the overall efficiency and transparency of the system.
Requirements: General Knowledge: Strong understanding of the financial product lifecycle.
Excellent communication skills to interact with front office, risk, and IT teams.
Analytical mindset with a focus on resolving and preventing Murex-related issues.
Knowledge of P&L, sensitivities, and integration with surrounding systems.
Murex Expertise: Minimum 3–4 years of hands-on experience in a functional role with Murex.
Expertise in: Static data, market data, and GOM configurations.
Simulations (viewers/layouts, PLVA, topography).
Trade lifecycle (key events and functionalities by product family).
P&L composition, risk factors, and sensitivities.
Market Data (curves, troubleshooting).
Reporting (trade queries, simulation views, dynamic tables).
Integration (XML, Murex workflows).
Functional knowledge of the MRB module.
Languages: English (required).
Spanish (preferred but not mandatory).
Key Attributes: Problem-solving skills with a resolution-oriented approach.
Ability to collaborate effectively in agile or non-agile environments.
Proactive and adaptable attitude to address client needs.
