We're looking for people who are determined to make life better for people around the world.The Discovery Chemistry Research & Technologies organization within Lilly Research Laboratories (LRL) is seeking a qualified laboratory automation professional to support our automation solutions at Madrid, Spain.Responsibilities:Work closely with scientists to fully understand workflows.Collaborate with existing team members to design, develop, and implement automation tools, both hardware and software, aimed at optimizing processes in DCRT laboratories.Provide quality support to existing processes and instruments: troubleshooting of hardware and software issues and routine maintenance. Coordinate with vendors and engineering companies for preventive maintenance visits and corrective problem solving.Program laboratory instruments: develop scripts for liquid handlers and other automation equipment installed in DCRT laboratories.Lead the implementation of new automation systems, gather requirements, and develop execution plans.
