It's driven by Multi-Station Ops Managers who bring the team together to push excellence in safety, quality and productivity across our sites.For your region (Spain), you will lead the Station Area Managers and create the operational plan that helps your teams meet their targets. This role is all about driving operational excellence to create the Amazon of tomorrow.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and develop a team of Station Area Managers.Lead operational teams, deal with issues, and positively impact sites performance for the region.Analyze region performance against relevant business objectives, and put in place actions to improve our operational excellence.Work closely with other support teams, including HR, Finance, Health and Safety, and Security.Design and deliver initiatives across the region to improve operational performance.A Day in the LifeYou have ultimate ownership for the Spanish region, leading teams, tracking sites performance and always looking for ways to improve the customer experience. That means you'll be close to the day-to-day operations for your region but also contribute to new ways to innovate.A typical day will involve collaboration with different stakeholders, deep diving performance and risk metrics for sites as well as preparing for different levels of demand. You will mentor and coach your team to achieve top level results.About the TeamAmazon Extra Large (AMXL) looks after heavy items like furniture and large home appliances. Our team manages the entire service, from supply chain fulfilment to delivery and returns. What sets this service apart from others is the extra level of customer care. Not only do we deliver large items, but we unpack, assemble and install them, and take away old items where needed. With a focus on safety, productivity and innovation, we're changing the way customers buy and receive large goods for the better.We have ambitious plans to expand our specialist fulfilment centers and delivery stations across the UK and Europe. While those of us who work in delivery stations will do some night shifts, most of us work during the day. Our team is made up of people across operations, supply chain, business intelligence and program management, and everyone plays a crucial role in growing this part of the business.Minimum RequirementsRelevant experience in successful people and stakeholder management.Advanced proficiency in verbal and written English and intermediate proficiency in Spanish.Relevant experience in using data or anecdotal evidence to influence business decisions.Relevant experience in key areas of production and supply chains.A university degree.Experience in Lean, Six Sigma and Kaizen techniques.Experience in a similar logistical working environment
