The Role: We are looking for a Data Analyst to work in a multi-disciplined team alongside Developers, Designers, and Product Owners, who will own their work from the initial idea to the final implementation.
The role will also involve mentoring junior members of the team who have an understanding of the area but may need to lean on a more experienced colleague from time to time.
The role sits inside the BI team, which is made up of 80+ people split across the three Ryanair offices: Dublin, Madrid & Wroclaw.
Within the BI team, there is a range of different professions: Data Analysts, Data Scientists, Data Engineers, Optimization Specialists, Data Modellers, BI Analysts & BI Reporters.
Requirements Education: Relevant Undergrad Degree in the field of Analytics, Masters preferable.Work Experience: Relevant work experience in Data Analytics/Data Science positions.Commercially focused: The candidate must be commercially astute and be able to recognize the value of projects.
Job performance is largely assessed by commercial value added.Ability to work independently: Crucial to be a self-starter and consistently show initiative & diligence on a daily basis.Communication Skills: Candidate must be communicative – most projects involve multiple people across various teams in different departments across the three offices.Analytical mindset: Be inquisitive and curious with data.
Be able to interpret and analyze data.
Be able to construct a story through data.Confident Presenter: The role will involve very regular presentations to non-technical audiences.Direct Reports: Ability to delegate work to & manage Junior Data Analysts.Technical Requirements:Coding Language: Experience in Python/R.SQL: SQL experience from previous jobs is required.Excel: Extensive experience required.Data Visualization: Experience with Data Viz software is preferred e.g.
